So after we "got" Amanda, we soon went up to our room to hang out for a bit before we had to head back to fill out paper work. So, Mommy immediately dumped a pile of bows in Amanda's lap for her to pick one out. She picked Pink! Mommy's girl!

Her "diaper" was held up with a large bungy type rubber band. At least she was wearing a diaper! One of the babies wasn't wearing one at all and the new mommy got all wet moments after getting her daughter.

Our little Sunshine!

Here's our baby girl playing in our room soon after we got her. I had downloaded about 15 pictures from the day and the internet went out and I lost the entire post.It takes about 5 minutes per picture to download here because the internet is so SLOW! So, more will come in the next couple of days, but Amanda is beautiful, perfect and so HAPPY! When we got her, she looked a little scared, then about ten minutes into holding her she cried for about 2 minutes and then she just looked around. As soon as we got her up to our room, I dumped out her pile of hairbows in her lap so she could pick one out. She picked up two pink ones--she is her mommy's girl! So we threw in the hairbow and she started playing and she just laughs and giggles and smiles! Her little legs just kick and go and she scoots backwards, not forwards. She is so animated and full of joy. She fell asleep so fast sucking her thumb at bedtime. And even though mommy and daddy were talking on the phone in the same room for about 1.5 hours on the phone, she just slept right through it. It was SUCH a wonderful day and we are so blessed! Thank you for all your emails and prayers!!
