So Long China!

Last car ride in China. Last ride on Mama's lap for awhile!
Hanging out in line...

Amanda's Chinese Passport. We will get her USA passport in Hawaii

We had to fly through Tokyo to get to Hawaii. But we couldn't stop there (and boy would we have liked to go home and rest and do laundry for a couple of weeks:-) because Amanda only had a Chinese Passport.

Another plane ride. She is getting to be a pro! Settle in little one! This 3.5 hour one is short compared to the 9 hour one you have later today!

Doing LOTS of walking during our layover in Tokyo!

Thanks to one of our WONDERFUL FRIENDS, we got upgraded to business class for the flight to Hawaii. Linda--YOU ROCK!!!
Amanda likes to travel this way:-)

Saying Good Bye:-(

Saying good-bye to Michael our wonderful facilitator! He did so much for us and was extremely helpful and organized. We are going to miss him and wished he could organize all our paperwork for Hawaii stuff!
Saying good-bye to Lucia;-(

Lucia is distressed. Amanda had a HUGE poopy diaper to voice her disapproval of leaving the McCurdys.

Now Amanda is voicing her disapproval loudly and insisting to Daddy we get back to Chicago SOON!

We are SOOOO thankful we got to travel with the Mccurdy/Martin family. Sharing this amazing experience with you made the most incredible journey of our lives even richer. We are in awe everyday of how wonderful it was to be with you all and to get to meet Lucia with you. Being with Matt, Angela, Lucia and Mr. and Mrs. Martin was "just" another miracle in our blessed journey to Amanda! Can't wait til we take the girls back to see China when they are precious little teenagers one day:-)

This was the first Purdue basketball game Amanda "watched."

She was VERY interested. We were SO proud!

USA!! USA!!! USA!!!!

Amanda was sworn in as a US citizen on this day! This is with Michael, our amazing facilitator in China!

The entire gang.

Wake up Daddy!

Amanda loves to give "Eskimo" kisses. It is so cute!

Checking out her sparkly squeeky shoes.

Yeaaa USA!!!

All Smiles

Despite having just gone to the Doctor and the Doctor telling us she must be in a lot of pain, Amanda was all smiles playing with Daddy! She is such a trooper and so full of joy!
