Splash Time!

We went to a great little water park with a couple of Amanda's friends. It was SO fun! This is Amanda and Sophia!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Giving Daddy his birthday card

Amanda drew inside the card. She picked the colors all by herself...and she honestly picked black and gold (actually yellow but close enough). Daddy was VERY impressed!

White Socks

Amanda loves to put on one shoe all the time and walk around. Tonight she changed things up and put on one of daddy's socks.
Sucking my thumb and chilling in my chair in my jammies, one sock and a hat.

SUCH a cutie pie!

Hot Day in Tokyo

Daddy and Amanda went outside to water the flowers. It was over 100 degrees at 9 in the morning. YUCK!
Amanda didn't seem to mind the heat!

She is SUCH a good helper

Surviving the Heat

With the heat index above 100 every day we have been enjoying the cool pool in the backyard

Mt Fuji--Sort of

So we went out of town a couple of weeks ago out near Mt. Fuji to visit some friends. We were at some lake, but I cannot remember the name of it and since we are leaving our house to go back to the USA in 12 hours, I am not going to worry about it:-) We had a great time visiting our friends and Amanda LOVED the ice cream:-)
Don't even THINK about taking away my ice cream!

A view of the lake...not Mt. Fuji

There's Mt. Fuji! Poor Aunt Sarah wanted to climb it so bad when she came to visit last year and the weather was just too bad. Next time Midge!
